I also heard that a lot of people dislike the new dA. Personally, I don't like it either. It takes far too long to load on my computer. =/ I mean, it's pretty, but still just seems clunky and a bit glitchy. But whatever. It's not something I can control, so I just gotta get used to it or leave.

I've been feeling extremely uninspired lately. My inability to draw always leads me to more abstract concepts, but lately I've been a barren wasteland for ideas. Things die inside my imagination. I thought watching some Shear Genius and Project Runway might get my vreative juices flowing. No dice. In truth, it seems to just be discouraging me even more. The creativity and amazing talent of everyone on those shows blows my mind and just makes me realize how I still have to go.

The only thing I really want to do (and I've wanted to do for quite some time) is make a dress. A lolita dress. But now I have to wait at least a year to do so because there's no way I'm fitting a dress to the body I have now, and I won't have time after the baby is born. So basically I need a model. Someone to commission me to make them something. But, of course, no one will do that because I have no previous work to prove my worth as a seamstress.

And honestly, I have no talent. Everything I do is hand sewn. I can't even fathom how to work a sewing machine. Nor do I have a machine to learn on. So I'm at a loss.

Distract me from my utter failure, pl0x?
